This painting has more than one hidden meaning.
It may, upon first examination, seem just another,
"Knight in Shining Armor" piece. This is the story
of leaving Manhattan and all the glitz and trappings
of one couple's life therein. Do you see the empire
state? How about the smiling teddy? Keep looking...
all that glitters certainly is not gold. I am pleasured
to report, this darling couple, displayed in this work,
are free of the city, content and living in Connecticut...
